OK here goes…. My name is Kristien and I have a passion for wine!
So much so I have decided to create this blog. I’m no wine expert but just someone who has quickly developed an interest and above all a taste. I like all of it, fizz, white and most of all red.
This is my first blog. I have never done anything like this before in my life, so please bear with me as I get used to this blogging and posting business.

So what kind of things am I going to talk about in this blog? Well I guess it will be all things wine related. Bottles I’ve had the pleasure (or displeasure) of drinking, wine tasting events, bargains, recommendations, different grape varieties, different countries, wine and food pairings, anything and everything really.
Hopefully I will be able to provide you with opinions, experiences and information about wine from someone who has an interest and passion, rather than someone who is a professional. I’m on a quest to try as many different wines as I can, learn about different grape varieties and enjoy it during the process.
